It’s easy to spice up fish, prawns or calamari with this simple seafood marinade. It takes just five minutes to make, but you’ll want to let the seafood absorb the wonderful flavours for at least 15 minutes (just enough time to throw together a salad and heat the frying pan!). If you have time, you can marinate the seafood for up to an hour.
PREPARATION 5 mins
HALVE IT / DOUBLE IT
Combine 3 tsp ground cumin, 1 tsp ground coriander, 1 tbsp white vinegar, 2 crushed garlic cloves and 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Use to marinate 1kg white fish, salmon, ocean trout, prawns or calamari.
